72HORAS is an audiovisual project created and produced by Coletivo 72HORAS and Providence Productions. It aims to encourage new talent and democratize cinematic access within the city of Rio de Janeiro. The project links creatives of all demographics with education, production and exhibition opportunities via the creative challenge to produce a short film within 72 hours.
Within four years, 72HORAS has instigated the production of 300 short films produced by 6,000 young filmmakers and has delivered free workshop, production and screening programs to over 15,000 people.
